How To Install a Blue Ripper Jr Blade

The installation of the blade on the Blue Ripper Jr.™ is easy if some simple steps are taken.

Procedure Steps:

Remove existing blade, if any

Install BRJR Blade Step 1: Remove blade

Insert new blade left side first

Install BRJR Blade Step 2: Insert blade

Slide up onto shaft. This may take some slight effort

Install BRJR Blade Step 3: Slide on blade

Press and hold the shaft lock pin

Install BRJR Blade Step 6: Shaft lock

Put on the outer flange and tighten the bolt counter-clockwise

Install BRJR Blade Step 7: Tighten bolt

And you're done!

Install BRJR Blade Step 8: Complete

Notes:

Not difficult, but that step of making sure you get the left side in first can be tricky. The saw just barely fits the 8 ¹/₁₆ inch blades we ship with it. But they DO fit.
Some wider or offset blades may lightly scrape a small aluminum protrusion on the inside of the housing. Either use a metal file to file away the impacting protrusion until it no longer scrapes, or just let the blade wear in the surface.
